Drug Take-Back Program

This program is being held at the Laurie Police Department located at 147 S Main Lower Level, Laurie, MO. Anytime between  Monday through Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. only.

- Bring in identification to verify that you are at least 18 years of age and that you reside at the address listed on the medication(s).

- Bring medications in their original packaging from the pharmacy.

- You may bring in any medication from a licensed pharmacist, including controlled substances, liquids containing medications, prescription inhalers, and medicated ointments or patches.

- Medications must be in the original container (pill bottle) or the daily planner packet.

DON'T

  • Do not bring medication from anyone who does not reside in your home.
  • Do not bring illicit drugs(ex, marijuana, cocaine, etc.) to the permanent dropbox.
    If this happens, law enforcement will investigate each incident    .

Medication/Items NOT accepted:

  • SHARPS objects/needles
  • Liquids containing Medications
  • Prescription inhalers
  • Radioactive medications
  • Bio-hazardous materials
  • Glass thermometers or other medical devices
  • Other household waste
