The Municipal Court is composed of one judge under the Circuit Court of Morgan County, Missouri, Associate Circuit Court, Laurie Municipal Division. The Municipal Judge is appointed by the Mayor. The Municipal Judge has such powers and duties as are conferred upon such officers by law or by ordinance.

You may make payment at Laurie City Hall, or you may send a check or money order in the amount of the fine and costs, payable to “Laurie Municipal Court.” You must also sign the “APPEARANCE WAIVER OF TRIAL AND PLEA OF GUILTY”, which appears on the back of your ticket. Mail the payment along with the signed yellow copy of the ticket to:

The fine and ticket must reach the court before your appearance date or a warrant will be issued for your arrest. The risk of non-delivery of mail is on the defendant mailing the fine and ticket.
